Anxiety is more than occasional stress. For many people, it involves excessive worry, overwhelming fear, or intense fear that interferes with daily life, work performance, and relationships. Anxiety disorders often affect both mental and physical health, leading to physical symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, muscle tension, and persistent unease.
Our center supports individuals experiencing Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Social Phobia, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Stress Disorder, Separation Anxiety Disorder, and Specific Phobias. These conditions are part of a broader group of Mental Health Disorders and related disorders that require careful diagnosis and personalized care.
Treatment options may include psychiatric medication management, coordination with licensed therapists for Anxiety Therapy, and structured referrals for individual therapy, exposure therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, or family therapy when appropriate. By focusing on individual needs, we help patients improve quality of life, strengthen self – esteem, and restore confidence in social situations and daily routine.
Michael Feldman, PA-C, brings extensive experience to anxiety-focused psychiatric care through a strong foundation in molecular and cellular biology combined with clinical practice. His clinical experience supports careful medication management and coordination with skilled clinicians offering evidence-based therapies when needed. Fluent in English, Russian, and Hebrew, PA Feldman emphasizes personalized care, cultural sensitivity, and long-term treatment planning.

One of the most nicest, kindest and considerate doctors I met.
He went over with me thoroughly on the documents and was generous enough to explain me everything that I asked.
I think he is a real doctor of people and not just someone that’s write prescriptions.
I wanted to sincerely thank Dr Feldman for his help during my time in the U.S.
His support, especially when my country was under attack, flights were grounded and medication was hard to access, made a real difference.
He was very kind, professional, and helped me get exactly what I needed in the best and most thoughtful way.
Common symptoms of anxiety disorders include excessive worry, negative thoughts, overwhelming fear, intense fear, chest pain, shortness of breath, muscle tension, and difficulty managing daily life. These symptoms of anxiety disorders may disrupt daily routine, physical health, relationships, and overall quality of life. A proper evaluation helps identify contributing factors and guides appropriate treatment options.
Types of Anxiety Disorders include Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Social Phobia, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Separation Anxiety Disorder, Specific Phobias, and trauma-related conditions such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. These conditions often overlap with other mental health conditions and may require coordinated care for long-term improvement.
Psychiatric care focuses on diagnosis and medication management. When appropriate, patients may be referred to licensed therapists or programs offering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy, Motivational interviewing, family therapy, or an Intensive Outpatient Program. Coordination ensures care plans align with individual needs while maintaining continuity across providers.
Yes. Anxiety frequently co-occurs with substance use disorders, and untreated anxiety can increase the risk of dependency. In these cases, care may involve coordination with Substance Use Treatment or addiction treatment services to address both conditions together. Integrated planning helps support physical health, emotional stability, and long-term recovery.
Personalized care begins with a detailed review of symptoms, medical history, physical health, and daily life challenges. Care plans are adjusted over time to support long-term progress, coping strategies, and improved quality of life. When appropriate, collaboration with a loved one or family member helps strengthen outcomes and consistency.
