Gimel Health is a self-pay psychiatric practice led by Michael Feldman, PA-C, who is licensed in New Jersey and New York. The office is in Fort Lee. Most Jersey City and Hoboken patients see Michael by video from home or work, and come to Fort Lee when they need or prefer an in-person visit.
Many Jersey City and Hoboken residents work in Manhattan. Michael is licensed in both states, so you keep the same prescriber whether you join a visit from your apartment in New Jersey or from your office in New York.
Every new patient starts with a full evaluation of up to 50 minutes: your history, current symptoms, past treatment and goals. You leave with a diagnosis and a specific plan, whether that means starting ADHD medication, an antidepressant, or changing what you already take.
Michael sees patients in English, Russian and Hebrew, directly and without an interpreter.

Most patients from Jersey City and Hoboken do their follow-up visits by telehealth. You come to Fort Lee when an in-person visit is needed, for example before starting some controlled medications, or when you simply prefer to meet face to face. Why molecular biology matters to your treatment
Most psychiatric prescribing is trial-and-error. My background in
molecular biology — MSc from Hebrew University of Jerusalem, with
research at the Weizmann Institute and Mt Sinai — lets me think about
your case at the level of biological pathways, not just symptom
checklists. That means fewer wasted medication trials and a clearer
rationale for every decision.
Who I treat
Adults, adolescents, and children with anxiety, depression, ADHD,
bipolar disorder, OCD, eating disorders, and complex or treatment-
resistant cases. I work especially well with patients who've been let
down by rushed 15-minute medication checks elsewhere.
What your first visit looks like
An initial evaluation of up to 50 minutes — in person at my Fort Lee office or via
telehealth anywhere in NJ or NY. We'll go through your full history,
current symptoms, prior treatments, and biological context. You leave
with a clear diagnosis and a specific medication plan, not a maybe.
