ADULT ADHD SELF-SCREENER · WHO ASRS v1.1

Adult ADHD Self-Screener (ASRS v1.1)

Six questions from the World Health Organization's adult ADHD screener. It takes about two minutes and shows whether a full evaluation is worth your time. It is not a diagnosis.

ABOUT

Meet Michael Feldman, PA-C

Why molecular biology matters to an ADHD evaluation

Before clinical practice I spent over ten years in molecular and cellular biology research at the Weizmann Institute of Science and Mount Sinai. That background is about not accepting an unverified result, which in an ADHD evaluation means not taking a prior diagnosis, or a self-diagnosis, at face value without checking it against the actual criteria and the conditions that commonly get confused with it.

What I evaluate for

A 50-minute evaluation, in person in Fort Lee or by telehealth across NJ and NY, with a clear diagnostic answer at the end of the visit.

What your first visit looks like

An initial evaluation of up to 50 minutes — in person at my Fort Lee office or via
telehealth anywhere in NJ or NY. We'll go through your full history,
current symptoms, prior treatments, and biological context. You leave
with a clear diagnosis and a specific medication plan, not a maybe.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About
ADHD Evaluations

Things patients usually want to know before reaching out.

Is an online ADHD screener a diagnosis?

No. The ASRS v1.1 screener shows whether your answers match the pattern seen in adults with ADHD. Only a clinical evaluation can diagnose ADHD, because anxiety, depression, poor sleep and other conditions can produce the same answers.

What does a score of 4 or more mean?

The World Health Organization treats 4 or more answers in the shaded range as a positive screen: your symptoms are consistent with adult ADHD and a full evaluation is worth doing. A lower score does not rule ADHD out if attention problems still affect your work or home life.

Can I get ADHD medication after taking this screener?

Not from the screener alone. If you live in New Jersey or New York, Michael Feldman, PA-C can see you for a full adult ADHD evaluation of up to 50 minutes ($350). If ADHD is diagnosed, he discusses medication options with you, and some medications may need an in-person visit first.

I live outside New Jersey and New York. Can Gimel Health help?

No. Michael is licensed in New Jersey and New York only, so he cannot treat you by telehealth from another state. Take your answers to your primary care doctor, or search the CHADD professional directory.
